Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the use of the platform OpenPix: Free AI Photos (both via the web application and mobile applications). OpenPix is an innovative AI image generation platform designed to make state-of-the-art creative synthesis freely accessible to everyone.

OpenPix is completely free of charge. We finance our GPU rendering pipeline and infrastructure through ethical digital advertising (Google AdSense on web, Google AdMob in mobile apps). No paid subscription or payment credentials are required.

OpenPix gives you full freedom of choice regarding authentication:

• Anonymous Access: You can synthesize, view, and download AI photos completely anonymously without creating an account or registering personal data.
• Optional Login: To access extended features, you may optionally sign in using your existing Google or Discord account.
• Free Unlocked Features: Logging in via Google or Discord unlocks free additional features including: Prompt-Roulette, Creative Challenges, custom creator profiles (nickname & avatar), gallery history tracking, and upcoming community features — 100% free of charge!
• Google Drive Cloud Export (drive.file): Authenticated users can optionally connect Google Drive to export their favorite pictures. OpenPix requests solely the minimal drive.file scope, limiting app access strictly to files created by OpenPix itself, without accessing any other existing personal documents on the user's Google Drive.

We believe in digital self-determination and your right to be forgotten (Art. 17 GDPR):

If you have created an account via Google or Discord, you have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Simply send an email from your registered email address to support@openpix-ai.app requesting account erasure.

Upon receipt of your request, our support team will permanently delete your user profile, OAuth links, avatar files, and associated image generation history from our databases without undue delay.

Users agree to utilize OpenPix in a lawful, respectful, and ethical manner adhering to Google API Terms of Service. Prompts and generations violating the following rules are strictly prohibited:

• Strict Exclusion of AI NCII & Deepfakes: The creation, generation, sharing, or facilitation of AI-generated Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (AI NCII), non-consensual sexual content, synthetic deepfakes of real individuals, or unauthorized depictions of persons without their consent is strictly prohibited. OpenPix does not use Google APIs for AI NCII.
• Pornographic, Violent & Unlawful Content: Any prompts or generated images containing pornography, sexually explicit material, violence, depictions glorifying violence, hate speech, self-harm, or child sexual abuse material (CSAM) are strictly forbidden.
• Harassment, Defamation & Exploitation: Creating deceptive images intended to defame, blackmail, extort, or harass private individuals or public personalities.
• Automated Abuse: Denial-of-service attempts, automated scraping, or bot-driven prompt flooding designed to overwhelm our free compute capacity.

Zero-Tolerance & Immediate Account Termination: OpenPix utilizes automated safety filters, heuristic prompt moderation, and a community reporting system. Any attempt to generate AI NCII, pornographic content, or prohibited material will result in immediate prompt blocking, irreversible account termination, and potential legal reporting.

Subject to compliance with these terms and applicable AI copyright laws in your jurisdiction:

• Your Creations: You are free to download, use, and share the images you generate with OpenPix for personal and creative purposes.
• Community Gallery License: When generating images that are published to the public OpenPix gallery, you grant OpenPix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and promote these images within the app and website.
• Platform IP: The OpenPix logo, interface, designs, code, and trademarks remain the intellectual property of Ingmar Hartung.

OpenPix is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. While we strive for high uptime and rapid GPU rendering, we do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free generation, or specific image results.

Because this is a free service, we reserve the right to modify, adjust, or discontinue specific features at any time without prior notice.

We may update these Terms from time to time to accommodate new features, platform enhancements, or evolving legal frameworks. Continued use of OpenPix after updates indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
