The controller responsible for the processing of data in relation to the mobile application and web app OpenPix: Free AI Photos pursuant to Article 4 (7) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

OpenPix is engineered on the principle of strict data minimization. You can use OpenPix and generate creative AI photos completely anonymously without registration. In addition, we offer an optional login via Google or Discord to unlock extended community and creative features 100% free of charge:

• Anonymous Core Use: You can create and download AI photos completely without an account, email address, or registration.
• Optional Google & Discord Sign-In: You may optionally sign in using your existing Google or Discord account. This allows you to permanently link your generated images, customize your creator nickname and avatar, and access exclusive free features such as Prompt-Roulette, Creative Challenges, and upcoming bonus tools.
• OAuth Data Scope: When logging in via Google or Discord, we only receive and store basic account identifiers necessary for authentication (OAuth ID, email address, display name, and avatar URL). We never receive your passwords or access to external private messages or files.
• On-Device Photo Storage: Generated pictures reside temporarily on our inference pipeline and can be saved directly to your device storage at any time.

When you voluntarily choose to sign in to OpenPix via Google Sign-In, we access and process specific basic profile information provided by Google APIs to enable your personal user account.

• Collected Data: Your first and last name, email address, and profile picture (avatar) as associated with your Google account.
• Purpose of Processing: Secure authentication, user account management, and reliable association of your generated pictures, creator profile, and bonus feature progress (e.g. Prompt-Roulette, Challenges) with your account.
• Protection & Non-Disclosure: Google user data is strictly protected. We never sell your Google data to third parties, nor do we transfer or use it for advertising purposes, data brokers, or training third-party AI models.
• Google API Limited Use Compliance: OpenPix's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• Account Deletion & Data Rights: Users can request the complete and immediate erasure of their account and all Google profile data at any time either via our privacy support (support@openpix-ai.app) or directly within their account settings.
• Google Drive Export Scope (drive.file): When you explicitly connect Google Drive to export your favorite pictures, OpenPix strictly uses the minimal authorization scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. OpenPix only has access to files and folders created by OpenPix itself, and can never access, read, or modify your pre-existing personal Google Drive documents.

When you enter a text description (Prompt) and select an aspect ratio (e.g. 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 9:16), these parameters are transmitted over secure, encrypted TLS/HTTPS channels to our backend API.

To generate high-quality photos, the prompt is forwarded via an encrypted API connection to the GPU inference infrastructure of Fal.ai (Fal, Inc.). Processing is volatile and ephemeral: inputs are computed in GPU memory to render the image and are not combined with personal user identifiers or utilized for advertising profiling.

In order to provide OpenPix and its high-performance AI image generation 100% free of charge to all users without requiring a paid subscription, our web application and mobile apps integrate advertising through Google AdSense (web version) and Google AdMob (mobile app) operated by Google Ireland Limited (for users in the EEA/Switzerland) and Google LLC (for other regions).

Google AdSense and AdMob may process device identifiers (such as cookies, advertising IDs, or IDFA), IP addresses, and interaction metrics to serve relevant ads, prevent ad fraud, and measure ad performance.

You can manage or restrict personalized advertising at any time via your browser settings or Google Ad Settings. On mobile devices, you can adjust tracking in your system preferences (Settings > Google > Ads on Android). For more details, refer to Google's Privacy & Advertising Policies at:

OpenPix is committed to user safety and strict adherence to Google API Terms of Service, app store guidelines, and international safety laws. We enforce zero tolerance against abusive or non-consensual content:

• Strict Exclusion of AI NCII & Deepfakes: The generation, sharing, or facilitation of AI-generated Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (AI NCII), non-consensual sexual content, deepfakes, or unauthorized synthetic depictions of real persons is strictly prohibited. OpenPix does not use Google APIs or services to generate, process, or distribute AI NCII.
• Prohibited Content: Prompts or images containing pornographic or sexually explicit material, violence, depictions glorifying violence, hate speech, self-harm, or child exploitation are strictly forbidden.
• Immediate Account Termination: Any violation of our AI NCII policy or content safety rules results in the immediate, irreversible suspension and deletion of the offending account and prompt blocking.
• Reporting System: An integrated reporting tool allows users to report objectionable content directly from the preview screen for prompt investigation.

To operate OpenPix securely, reliably, and globally, we rely on trusted infrastructure providers:

• IONOS SE / Cloudflare: Server hosting and secure API gateway for request orchestration.
• Fal.ai (Fal, Inc.): Accelerated GPU compute nodes for executing diffusion-based photo rendering models.
• Google LLC & Discord Inc.: OAuth authentication services when you choose to log in with your Google or Discord account.
• Google Firebase: Anonymous crash reporting and performance monitoring to diagnose app stability issues.

Temporary generation records and transient API logs of anonymous sessions are automatically purged or anonymized. For logged-in users (Google / Discord), your account data and linked gallery images are stored securely to provide your profile experience.

Right to Data & Account Deletion: You have the absolute right at any time to request the complete deletion of your account, linked profile information, and associated generated images. To initiate complete account erasure, you can contact our privacy support at support@openpix-ai.app with your registered email address or OAuth user ID. All corresponding personal database entries will be permanently removed in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR.

Under European data protection law (GDPR), you hold fundamental rights regarding any personal data:

• Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR): Request confirmation whether and what data is processed.
• Right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): Request correction of inaccurate information (e.g. your creator nickname).
• Right to Erasure / Löschung (Art. 17 GDPR): Request immediate and total deletion of your profile, account, and images.
• Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18 GDPR) & Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR).
• Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g., Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen - LDI NRW).

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features (such as new login providers or creative modules), technical enhancements, or legal requirements. The latest version will always be accessible through this URL and linked inside the OpenPix app.
