Better prompts for Cyberpunk
Cyberpunk prompts with motivated neon light, convincing reflections and a clear focal point.
A guide by OpenPixHow to direct this visual style
Specify which sign lights the scene and which surfaces reflect it. Leave a substantial dark area so the neon colors can stand out.
From subject to a readable scene
Start with one clear subject and a specific action. Then describe the setting, framing and light. Select the matching style in the OpenPix studio; the style already adds visual guidance. Add details that support your scene instead of stacking conflicting styles.
Detailed example prompts
Example 1: A clear main subject
A bicycle mechanic wearing copper goggles repairs a wheel outside a narrow night workshop. Cyan sign on the left, magenta windows on the right, wet asphalt with directed reflections, deep shadows, middle-height viewpoint, futuristic cables and worn metal components.
Colors have defined sources and surfaces, making the reflections feel connected.
Example 2: A distinct scene
A small delivery robot waits beneath a transparent umbrella at an elevated railway stop. Low viewpoint, one red signal light as the focal point, cool blue city lights behind, fine raindrops on plastic and generous dark spaces, cyberpunk night atmosphere.
The second scene applies the same visual language to another situation. The subject, spatial arrangement and light source are explicit, keeping the variation deliberate.
Best practices for your images
- Limit the dominant neon palette to two colors and a small accent.
- Create a simple version first. Then change only the action, light or perspective at a time and compare results. Keep the strongest prompt together with the style you used.
Common mistakes and limitations
- Neon on every surface makes the scene flat and crowded.
- Prompts guide generation but cannot guarantee identical details or a specific resolution. Check hands, lettering, geometry and small objects before using an image.
